AXO is the first car seat with an exclusive, patented hydraulic shock absorption system to reduce the impact of acceleration on the child. In case of frontal impact, the hydraulic shockabsorber absorbs the energy of impact reducing the accelerating force. When the piston is activated the harnesses of the car seat automatically tighten to prevent the chest from moving forward.

The tests show a reduction in the deceleration force of up to -18 G compared with the values required by ECE Standards (55 G).

G FORCE

During impact, the vehicle suddenly decelerates while passengers are subjected to a high acceleration, called G force. The measurement unit of acceleration is G, corresponding to 9.81 m/s2.
