Brevi was founded in Telgate near Bergamo, in 1953 by the passion of the Brevi brothers for plastic and metal. The Institution that based the foundation of the company was the substitution of wood in plastic and metal when manufacturing baby products, at the beginning mainly highchairs and cots.
Thanks to Brevi's experience in the last 30 years innovative products with great commercial success have been created.
1971 Grembolone, the first high chairs with a fold-up frame in polyurethane foam without rigid parts on the inside. Innovative at the time, it is presented to the public by means of a television campaign.
1975 Launch of Scout, the first cot on a worldwide scale to be folded like a book .
1985-87 Weekend and Travel B, the first European cot with umbrella folding, complete with a carry bag.
1988 Launch of the bath Idea, the first product on a worldwide scale of its kind: mothers, thanks to the Idea drawer + bath unit, can easily bathe their babies having both the bath and changing mat at their disposal on the same level .
1988 The factory in Grumello is inaugurated.
2002 The factory in Palosco is inaugurated.
2003 Brevi enters the segment of strollers and prams with no less than eight different models.
2006 Launch of the Soft & Play, an exclusive activity centre that accompanies the baby in the initial development of the motor-sensory abilities by offering stimulating tactile contact in an educational way during playtime .
2006 Launch of the multi position-feeding chair Slex, a new way for the children to be together at the dinner table. In just a few years it has become a great commercial success.
2007 Brevi moves the production unit in a new totally covered premises with a floor area of 20,000m² The year 2007 has been another milestone in the Brevi history. An ambitious project that brings together all the technical planning, production units and administration was implemented. This consisted in the construction of a new totally covered premises with a floor area of 25,000m. The creation of this premises with a further expansion capability of 8,000 m², will increase efficiency of the entire production and distribution process.
The new factory has made it possible to unite production with an enlarged logistic unit with 15 ramps for deliveries, improving efficiency and effectiveness in production as well as in distribution.
2008 Brevi enters the market for feeding and weaning with Vivalapappa, a complete product line that redefines the standards of functionality and joins personality, substance, design and technology in the sign of Brevi's constant research.
After 50 years, the second generation of the Brevi family continue in the management of the company, whilst always keeping at the forefront the values established by the founders.
